An Ode to a Stranger

Unspoken words with a mesmerizing smile

Grace in gestures, heaven in eyes

Matrimony of unfathomable lust,

With ageless platonic desire

An unprecedented conjugation with,

A stranger from a tangible delirium

The unquenchable urge to be touched

A fleeting moment in time

The stranger is a nomad like me

A sailor of untamed seas

The sands of time stop for none

Back to my haven, no harm done

The joys of loneliness are not lost

As loneliness has always been

A faithful companion, an invisible twin

A spiritual healer, a panacea for my soul

Now that I am returned to where I was

With an eternal void of content

To cherish the elated memories

Of passionate moments now lost in time

It turns out that this is my first arrhythmic poem. I am glad that I am able to express my self through poetry.
